Internet Security Statement

Effective as of January 15, 2017

At Clawd Technologies Inc. and Clawd Technologies USA, Inc. (collectively “Clawd”), we recognize and respect the importance of security. This Internet Security Statement covers the measures that Clawd takes to help secure your personal information. This Internet Security Statement is subject to change without notice to you, so we recommend that you review it regularly. By accessing this site you acknowledge that you have read and understand this Internet Security Statement as amended from time to time.

Encryption

Encryption technology is designed to secure personal and confidential communications between your computer and Clawd servers, so that they are protected from being read by any third parties. This is achieved by “scrambling” communications so that they are unreadable by anyone other than Clawd or yourself. Clawd web applications require 2048-bit SSL encryption — the standard for encrypting and safeguarding websites.

Cookies

“Cookies” are small pieces of data that websites store in your browser. These data files contain information the site can use to track and organize the pages you have visited, and to gather information. Clawd’s website uses “cookie” technology to measure site activity and tailor information to fit your personal interests. This helps us deliver a superior website experience that is fast, secure and personalized. Clawd uses only “session” cookies; cookies placed by Clawd are deleted as soon as you close your browser, helping to further protect your privacy and security.

Time-outs and automatic log outs

Clawd’s website requires you to log in using a Clawd ID and password. While you are logged in, if you leave your browser window open, Clawd applications will automatically log you out after a prescribed period of inactivity, [e.g. 30 minutes of inactivity]. Similarly, if you close your browser window without logging out, you will be automatically logged out. Both of these measures are designed to protect your information from unintended access by a third party or different user of your computer.

E-mail fraud

Use caution when emails and websites claiming to represent a legitimate company asking you to provide confidential or legal or financial information. Clawd will not send you e-mails in which Clawd will ask you to provide a password or other confidential or financial information, except in response to a request you initiated. If you receive a request like this or have any doubts on the validity of an email or a Web site supposedly from Clawd, or have any questions about our online security, please contact us without delay.

In such case, please attach any suspicious email in its original form or in the case of a website URL address (Web address) to the communication you send us.

For more specific information on the different types of email fraud, please visit Public Safety Canada website http://www.publicsafety.gc.ca

Other security measures

Clawd commits to implement a number of security measures to help ensure the safety and privacy of your personal information. This includes securing our computers against hacker attacks and virus activities by a number of different means. We monitor our website, servers and data at any time, any day, to help us identify problems immediately and address them quickly.
