This Privacy Policy covers the treatment of personally identifiable information collected by Clawd servers during your visits to Clawd website and SaaS application. This Privacy Policy is subject to change without prior notice, so we recommend that you review it regularly. By accessing this site you acknowledge that you have read and understood this Privacy Policy as amended from time to time.
Privacy and confidentiality
Clawd Technologies Inc. (330, Cormier St, suite 201, Drummondville (Quebec) Canada J2C 8B3), Clawd Technologies USA Inc. (113 Barksdale Professional Center, Newark, Delaware, United States 19711), Clawd Technologies SAS (5th floor, 6 Duret St, 75116 Paris, France) et Clawd Technologies Côte d’Ivoire SARL (Abidjan – Cocody-Riviera Palmeraie, not far from Maci Canada school, Abidjan, Ivory Coast, Africa) (collectively “Clawd”) are committed to respecting the privacy and confidentiality of information they receive, in accordance with their Privacy Policy, and applicable laws. Clawd has established and will continue to maintain reasonable safeguards to protect the security and confidentiality of personal information. However, you acknowledge and confirm that the Internet is not a secure medium where privacy and confidentiality can be guaranteed and that complete security and confidentiality of transmissions to and from the Clawd website and SaaS application over the Internet is not possible at this time. Your confidential use of Clawd website and applications cannot be guaranteed and you acknowledge that your use of the said site (including information you transmit to the site) may be subject to access or manipulation by, or disclosure to, third parties. Without limiting any other disclaimer herein, Clawd and its affiliates shall not be responsible or liable for any damages that you or any other person may suffer in connection with any such breach of privacy, confidentiality or security.
Personal information we collect upon registration
To access the Clawd SaaS application you must register using the link “Sign up” on the Clawd home page. At the time of your registration, you must provide various personal information (for example: full name, address, email address or mobile phone number, etc.) You will receive an email containing your Clawd ID and in which you will also be prompted to confirm the creation of your account. The combination of your Clawd ID and the password you have chosen will allow you to log into the SaaS application.
Personal information we collect for your identity verification
To provide you with a secure, private and convenient digital identity and for the issuance of a digital signature certificate, you may request for your identity to be verified. You need to complete your request by clicking on the “Verify” hyperlink in the top menu bar of your Clawd dashboard. Additional personal information will be necessary to allow our certification service provider Uniksign technologies inc. (“UnikSign”) to complete your identity verification process.
Forgotten password
If you forget your password, you may apply for a password reset by clicking one the “Forgot your password?” link on the password entry page of the login process. To confirm your identity, you must complete the “Email address” field and answer a security question. Thereafter, you will receive, by email, a temporary password that you will be invited to reset.
Communication with Clawd
If you send Clawd an e-mail through our “Contact” feature, the email address you provide will be used to contact you with our reply.
If you already are a Clawd user, transactional emails or email notifications could be sent to you. If you want to change your email address, you can do so through the “Nominal information” menu of your user account.
Remember that the security of email communication cannot be guaranteed. Do not send private or confidential information to Clawd via email (e.g., your Social Insurance Number, date of birth, etc.). Furthermore, Clawd will never send you an e-mail message requesting personal information. Any such request is a fraudulent attempt to gain your valuable personal information (a technique known as “phishing”).
What your information will not be used for:
Marketing from third parties: We will never sell your information to any third party or share it with any other organization for marketing purposes.
E-mail security
The security of email communication cannot be guaranteed. We therefore recommend to any person wishing to communicate or send information of a private or confidential nature to Clawd or to a third party to do so by other means.
Cookies
“Cookies” are small pieces of data that websites store in your browser. These data files contain information the Clawd informational website and applications can use to track and organize the pages you have visited, and to gather information. Our website uses “cookie” technology to measure the site activity and to tailor information to fit your personal interests or needs. This helps us deliver a superior user experience that is designed to be fast, secure and personalized. Clawd SaaS application only uses “session” cookies. However, we recommend that you clear your browser cache memory upon closure, further protecting your privacy and security.
Traffic analysis
Clawd collects some limited information about your connection to the Internet. This information includes your computer’s IP address, which is your numerical address on the Internet that lets our servers know where to send the web pages you access. This information is collected to help measure traffic to our site and the performance of our servers, and to help diagnose problems when they arise. This information does not identify you personally, and all site analysis is performed on a strictly anonymous sample of the information collected.
